Kuwait’s Shuwaikh Port is moving ahead with a major digitalisation initiative after CyberLogitec signed an agreement to deploy its cloud-based OPUS Terminal M system at the port. The project is part of a wider port digitalisation programme led by Kuwait-based infrastructure company Alghanim Specialities.
 

Shuwaikh Port is Kuwait’s main commercial port and handles container, general cargo and Ro-Ro traffic. Kuwait Ports Authority data shows that the port handled 613,093 TEUs in 2024, highlighting the scale of operations that the new digital platform will support.
